Heywood Civic Youth Theatre (16-18)

Create like an artist. Collaborate like a professional.

This programme is designed for young people who want a deeper, more realistic understanding of the theatre and creative industries. Led by working writer/producers and director/producers, sessions give 16–18 year olds the opportunity to develop a broad, industry-relevant skillset – from acting and devising to directing, writing and creative leadership.

Rather than a single end-of-term production, you’ll build a portfolio of skills and work, contributing to student-led showcases that reflect your interests and ambitions. Ideal for anyone considering a future in the arts, or simply wanting to explore creativity in a mature, collaborative space.

Join us for any of the free sessions in May, June or July before deciding to sign up with us for ongoing weekly sessions as part of the first term in September.
