Across 12 weeks, you’ll learn the core techniques used by real working producers, all fully transferable from simple DIY setups to world class studio environments. Learn how to produce professional‑quality music from a DIY setup, covering everything from studio basics like audio interfaces, microphones, and equipment essentials, to navigating Logic Pro X and building an effective workflow.

You’ll get hands‑on experience recording clean vocals, capturing drum kits and full bands with minimal gear, and developing practical techniques for working on a budget. The course also introduces the core principles of mixing using built‑in plugins, giving you the skills to shape, balance, and polish your own tracks from start to finish.


Led by Professional Producer & Engineer Alfie Duke

Your tutor, Alfie Duke, is a music producer, recording engineer and multi instrumentalist specializing in both bedroom production and advanced studio work. With years of hands-on experience, Alfie has headlined major festivals, recorded sessions at world renowned studios (including Abbey Road and Co-op Live) and spent the past two years producing artists from his own home studio, helping emerging talent unlock their sound. Alfie brings real world knowledge, industry insight, and a supportive teaching style that makes complex ideas easy to understand.
