Join us for the official launch of Merhaba 2026!

Merhaba is Arabic for “welcome” – and since 2024, Merhaba has been welcoming everyone to their festival, whatever your age, race, religion or background. Be the first to hear about this year’s exciting programme of food, music and artform across the Islamic world, meet the team behind the festival, and discover how you can get involved.

Following the guest speakers and musical tasters, the evening continues with a standalone live music set from Electric Sufi, one of the standout acts from last year’s vibrant music stage – so stay, celebrate and enjoy a night of sound and culture.

Electric Sufi are a UK Northern collective whose album Breathe in Love is a collection of works inspired by their Muslim, Christian & Humanist ideologies, that blend Sufi singing, electronica, & instrumental virtuosity.
