Leave Your Mark on our new Heywood Civic
For a donation of £200 or more, you can name a seat at Heywood Civic and leave a lasting mark!
Naming a seat is a meaningful way to celebrate your gift, while directly supporting the future of creativity and community in Heywood.
Whether you choose to dedicate a seat to a loved one, mark a special occasion, recognise a family name or simply show your support, your personalised plaque will become part of our new Heywood Civic’s story.
Your donation will:
- Support creative activities for children and families, providing access to arts and culture close to home
- Provide free or affordable sessions for young people who might otherwise miss out
- Help keep Heywood Civic a welcoming, inclusive space for everyone.
In return for your generosity, you will receive:
- An engraved plaque with your chosen dedication, fixed to an auditorium seat
- The knowledge that you are directly supporting culture and communhity in Heywood for years to come.

Terms and Conditions
1. Donation Period
Seat dedications will remain in place for seven (7) years from the date the plaque is installed. Towards the end of this period, we may contact you to ask if you wish to renew your support.
2. Seat Ownership
Naming a seat does not confer ownership, priority booking, or guaranteed access to that seat. All seats remain the property of Heywood Civic.
3. Seat Availability and Relocation
Seat allocation is subject to availability at the time of donation. Heywood Civic reserves the right to relocate plaques if seating layouts change, the auditorium is refurbished or seats are replaced.
4. Seating Configurations
Certain events may use alternative seating layouts. In these circumstances, you named seat may be temporarily removed from use or repositioned.
5. Dedication Text
Dedications are limited to 32 characters (including spaces) unless otherwise agreed.
Heywood Civic reserves the right to refuse or request changes to any wording deemed inappropriate.
Once approved and engraved, dedication text cannot be amended.
6. Installation Timescales
Plaques are typically installed within 6-12 weeks of confirmation of wording and payment, subject to production schedules.
7. Refunds
All donations are non-refundable once payment has been processed and wording confirmed.
8. Damage or Wear
Normal wear and tear will be managed by Heywood Civic. Accidental damage to plaques will be repaired or replaced at our discretion.
9. Photography and Publicity
Heywood Civic may photograph named seats for promotional or archival purposes. Personal stories may be shared only with donor consent.
10. Changes to the Scheme
Heywood Civic reserves the right to amend the Name a Seat scheme, pricing or terms where necessary. Any significant changes will be communicated clearly.
